School and community Art Workshops
Lani visits schools (both primary and high school) to run art workshops on a regular basis. Workshops are generally based on Lani’s nonsensical style of art with an emphasis on relaxing, having fun and enjoying the process. Lani is flexible in her approach depending on the request of a school and specific needs of it's students.
Some ideas if you are thinking of booking Lani to come for a visit!
-One-off workshops can be an effective introduction to making art and be an encouragement to students that they CAN pursue their interests and make art into an interesting career path.
-Every student who participates in a workshop is gifted with one of Lani's artworks as a postcard and encouraged to stick it up somewhere at home as a reminder to pick up a pencil or pen and make
-Regular workshops (weekly or fortnightly) can be highly effective as Lani has the opportunity to build a strong rapport and get to know the students to build their self-esteem, encourage them regularly in their artistic expression and tailor workshops more specifically. Lani loves to spend time with each student during workshops (depending on the number of participants) to help them come up with ideas or just to affirm them.
Murals
Lani has created murals both indoors for commercial projects as well as outdoors.
Commissions
If you have a cool idea that you think Lani could help bring to life (a story that needs pictures, a blank wall, a project, etc) feel free to send a message about it. No idea is too silly (actually in this case, maybe the sillier the better, it suits the art style..)
